Responsible Gambling and Getting Help

Rich Prize does not accept players from Ireland. This guidance explains how to recognise gambling harm, restrict an existing account and seek support for yourself or someone close to you.

Adults Only and Protecting Children

Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over. Rich Prize does not accept players from Ireland. Keep login details private, sign out on shared devices and use a screen lock. Never let children use a gambling account or access it through a device left signed in.

Keeping Spending and Time Under Control

Personal boundaries can help reduce gambling risk, but cannot eliminate it.

  • Keep money for rent, bills, food and other essentials separate from gambling spending.
  • Set a spending limit and a time limit before you start, and stop when either is reached.
  • Never borrow to gamble or try to win back losses.
  • Avoid gambling when distressed or affected by alcohol.

Recognising When Gambling Is Causing Harm

Warning signs include hiding gambling spending, repeatedly exceeding your planned limits, gambling to recover losses, or neglecting relationships and responsibilities. These behaviours are not a diagnosis, but they are reasons to stop gambling and seek help.

Requesting Self-Exclusion from Rich Prize

If you have an existing Rich Prize account, ask support for help requesting self-exclusion. Submitting a request is not the same as completing exclusion. Avoid further gambling while waiting.

  1. Verify that you own the account as part of the request.
  2. Choose the exclusion period you wish to request.
  3. Complete the self-exclusion request form.
  4. Use the interim account restriction while your request is being processed. Ask support for help if you cannot apply it.

Finding Support in Ireland

GamblingCare is an independent support option in Ireland for people affected by gambling, including friends and family. It can help you find counselling and other support services, whether you are concerned about your own gambling or someone else’s.

Speaking with your GP or a trusted person can be a first step. Explain how gambling is affecting you and ask for help finding support.
